Summary



Location: Remote EST (Must be able to come on site in the King of Prussia, PA area once per quarter for meetings - travel expenses are NOT reimbursed)
Duration: 6+ month contract - will most likely be continually extended with opportunity to convert permanent.

This role combines Scrum Master and hands-on Project Management responsibilities. The individual will lead all Agile ceremonies, ensure effective sprint planning and execution, and actively coach teams on Agile principles and best practices. When not facilitating delivery, this person will serve as an Agile coach to engineers, UX designers, and product partners, helping teams mature their Agile practices.


Responsibilities include establishing missing Agile foundations such as working agreements, team norms, and best practices. The role is very hands-on, focused on getting product delivered, removing risks and blockers, managing dependencies, and ensuring timelines are met.


The individual will drive teams toward improved efficiency through experimentation, continuous improvement, and collaboration. They will apply core Agile values and principles, demonstrate strong knowledge of multiple Agile methodologies, and clearly understand the associated roles and responsibilities.


Key responsibilities include facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements, reviews, and retrospectives; tracking progress and metrics; managing cross-team dependencies; and using Agile tools to maintain a strong learning and delivery cadence aligned to product vision. The role requires close collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams and consistent coaching on Agile and delivery best practices.


Required Skills
* Strong experience using Jira and Confluence
* Excellent communication skills and strong people leadership abilities
* Proven project coordination and delivery management experience
* Stakeholder management experience
* 5+ years of overall experience in delivery, project management, or Agile roles
* Prior experience in PM, Delivery Manager, and/or Scrum Master roles
* SAFe experience
* Strong dependency management experience
* 2+ years of Agile facilitation experience (experience with multiple frameworks is a plus)
* 2+ years of experience working with multiple cross-functional teams
* Ability to define, track, and speak to delivery and Agile metrics
* Current, hands-on Agile facilitation experience
* Broad, practice-based knowledge of Agile frameworks and Lean principles
* Ability to run standard and custom Agile reports
