JOB SUMMARY

Marriott is seeking a highly skilled FLEX Director, Corporate Systems, Oracle Fusion ERP Lead with significant experience leading Oracle ERP technology transformation and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture, design, development, deployment, and support of complex integrations across Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, external applications, and enterprise data platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle ERP, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP), REST APIs, enterprise integration patterns, data transformation frameworks, and Oracle Financial business processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end Oracle ERP implementations and driving enterprise-scale integration strategies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale software applications, integrations, and digital platforms including:
    • 7+ years of Oracle ERP implementation and integration experience.
    • Minimum 3+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion ERP implementation projects with significant integration leadership responsibilities
    • Extensive hands-on experience integrating Oracle ERP, EPM Cloud with external applications and enterprise platforms.
    • Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale integration architectures.
    • Demonstrated experience working in complex, global, multi-system environments.
  • Prior experience with the following:
    • FBDI templates and bulk data processing frameworks
    • UCM security, APIs, and document management processes
    • BI Publisher (BIP)
    • OTBI Reporting
    • Oracle ERP Cloud security architecture
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP)
    • Oracle ERP REST APIs and Web Services
    • XSLT and advanced data transformation techniques
    • Dynamic mapping frameworks
    • Enterprise Integration Patterns
    • Canonical Data Modeling
    • Event-Driven and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA)
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Financial processes including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of business process flows, data lineage, and integration touchpoints across Finance, PPM, and SCM ecosystems

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience building or integrating AI-powered digital assistants, workflow automation capabilities, and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Experience with modern observability and monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
  • Strong process management, negotiating, influencing and problem resolution skills.
  • Technology leadership experience in a sourced or internally managed environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across platforms and follow through to a resolution.
  • Ability to work independently, identifying and driving required tasks to completion in a timely manner.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Integration Architecture & Solution Design
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient integrations between Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud and external enterprise applications.
  • Architect integrations spanning Oracle ERP Cloud modules including:
    • Financials
    • EPM
    • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
    • Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Apply industry-standard integration and architectural design patterns to solve complex business challenges.
  • Design canonical data models that facilitate seamless integration between upstream and downstream applications.
  • Define enterprise integration standards, governance frameworks, and reusable integration assets.
  • Design and develop integrations leveraging:
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP Services
    • File-Based Data Import (FBDI)
    • Universal Content Management (UCM)
    • API Gateway
    • Functions
  • Design, Develop and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI reports to support integrations and operational reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud data architecture, underlying tables, and transactional data models.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in ERP, EPM & OCI API's usages.
  • Understanding of BOSS API's and their usage scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of Security controls, Authentication & Authorization
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Oracle ERP integration best practices.

AI Development and Integration
  • Design and build AI Agents using the workflow & supervisor patterns.
  • Strong understand of context engineering & Optimization
  • Exposure to agentic apps configuration and build process.

Data Management & Processing
  • Design and build data hydration frameworks utilizing Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP).
  • Implement enterprise-grade resiliency frameworks, including:
    • Circuit breakers
    • Retry and reprocessing mechanisms
    • Error handling and recovery frameworks
    • Monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Lead complex data transformation initiatives using XSLT, dynamic mappings, and advanced transformation techniques.
  • Develop high-volume batch and real-time integration processing solutions.

DevSecOps & Release Management
  • Lead deployment activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
  • Manage deployment dependencies and release orchestration for integration artifacts.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines supporting Oracle integration solutions.
  • Apply DevSecOps best practices to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable solution delivery.
  • Establish automated testing, code quality, and governance standards.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership
  • Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Mentor and guide integration developers and technical teams.
  • Drive architecture reviews, design governance, and enterprise integration roadmap
