We are seeking an experienced Credit Collections Analyst to manage high-volume dispute resolution and collections efforts for our Fortune 500 clients. Based in Charlotte, NC, this is a hybrid role with office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, offering a flexible remote schedule on Mondays and Fridays. We use tools like Oracle ERP and Advanced Excel for high-level analysis, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Credit Collections Analyst, you'll be responsible for managing a high-volume portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts. You'll resolve invoice disputes, manage deductions and claims, and ensure payments are collected timely. You will use advanced Excel and Oracle ERP tools to analyze large datasets, track AR, and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
- Collection activities: Manage collections for an assigned portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up and adherence to responsible collection practices.
- Customer communication: Follow up with customers within a customer-focused framework, proactively identifying and resolving payment issues.
- Invoice analysis: Analyze customer invoices to ensure that contract terms and conditions are being met.
- Cash applications: Handle cash applications and account adjustments based on Treasury backup.
- Customer inquiries: Resolve customer email and phone inquiries within a 24-hour turn-around.
- Information gathering: Collect and provide necessary credit and collections reference information.
- Ad hoc projects: Complete special projects and related deliverables as assigned.
- Managing priorities: Balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Claims and disputes: Handle dispute resolution for Fortune 500 customer accounts by investigating claims, deductions, or disputes to determine validity.
- Problem-solving: Resolve issues and answer questions with limited information.
- Initiative: Take the initiative to research and identify solutions for uncommon issues or inquiries.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-5 years of experience in Credit & Collections, with a focus on dispute resolution for enterprise/B2B clients (ideally Fortune 500).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivots, Formulas) for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP (preferred).
- Strong communication skills for managing customer inquiries and dispute resolution.
- Ability to handle high-volume collections in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience analyzing invoice disputes, deductions, and claims.

- Experience with contract analysis to identify root causes of disputes (e.g., pricing, compliance, billing errors).
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve objections and secure payment commitments.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance environment.
