Sr. Manager Cloud Engineering

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles
• 6+ years of experience in technical leadership or people management role
• Deep expertise with AWS platform services including EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, S3, Security Hub, and CloudWatch
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes cluster architecture, container orchestration, and cloud-native security practices
• Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
• Proven ability to lead CI/CD modernization and DevOps best practices
• Experience managing cloud networking and security alignment in partnership with InfoSec (matrix model)
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as SOX and HIPAA
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills with ability to drive consensus and influence cross-functional teams
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response
• Ability to provide people leadership including hiring, performance management, and resource planning
• Availability for after-hours emergency response and on-call as required

• Experience with cost-optimization strategies and FinOps practices
