Summary

Overview:
We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide first-level technical support to end users in a professional business environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting common IT issues, supporting a variety of devices, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Help Desk support to users via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to macOS and Windows operating systems, software applications, and user accounts.
  • Support hardware including desktops, laptops, smartphones, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform Active Directory tasks such as password resets, account creation, account deletion, and basic user access management.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2 or other IT teams as needed.
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support to users of varying technical skill levels.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting a service desk, help desk, or internal business users.
  • Experience supporting operating systems, software, hardware, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including password resets and user account management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-service mindset.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with IT team members.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00/hr.
