Own and drive the overall QA automation strategy for the new UI-based ISO Portal application across sprint and release cycles.
Define automation roadmap, framework standards, coding guidelines, reusable components, and governance model using Playwright or Selenium based on automation feasibility and project needs.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development Leads, and QA stakeholders to understand business requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality objectives.
Identify automation scope by evaluating functional test cases for feasibility, priority, stability, business criticality, and regression value.
Oversee design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks supporting UI, functional, smoke, regression, and release validation.
Ensure automation scripts are integrated with CI/CD pipelines for scheduled, on-demand, and release-based execution.
Define quality gates for pipeline execution, including test pass thresholds, defect leakage tracking, regression health, and automation execution reporting.
Monitor automation progress, script coverage, execution trends, defect trends, and overall quality metrics; publish regular QA and automation status reports to GPC and Cognizant stakeholders.
