Job Description:
Network Engineer - Project Lead

Location: Columbia, South Carolina (On-site)

Role Overview

We are seeking Network Engineer - Project Leads to support an increased workload during a reorganization. The role focuses on providing network operations and infrastructure support. This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, requiring candidates to be fully on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues through monitoring, analysis, and root cause investigation. * Investigate and resolve network incidents through remote analysis and field-based troubleshooting. * Escalate complex issues as appropriate and participate in on-call support activities. * Perform routine maintenance activities, including system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes. * Maintain accurate operational documentation, network diagrams, incident records, and runbooks. * Collaborate with network engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to support reliable technology services. * Support and maintain network security technologies, including firewalls and VPNs. * Assist with troubleshooting and responding to security-related incidents.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure, including switching, routing, and connectivity services.
  • Perform field installation and deployment of network equipment, including configuring, racking, stacking, cabling, and testing switches.
Required Qualifications


Location: Candidate must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to South Carolina before starting the role at their own expense.
