The Opportunity

Join our team as an Application Engineer (UI) supporting the Secure the Enterprise initiative. In this role, you will help modernize and automate the system security evaluation and authorization process. You'll build intuitive, data-driven user interfaces that simplify workflows, enhance visibility across projects, and advance our mission of continuous monitoring and streamlined approvals. This is a chance to contribute to impactful, enterprise-level solutions while working with cutting-edge web technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, deploy, and sustain web-based applications using Angular 14+.
  • Build clean, modern single-page application (SPA) dashboards that visualize complex data from ReST endpoints.
  • Create UI mockups and prototypes to support new development efforts.
  • Integrate UI components with backend services, ensuring accurate request/response handling and effective data presentation.
  • Enhance application look and feel using CSS, ensuring a polished and user-friendly experience.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Education & Experience
    • All education and experience must be in a technical field directly related to this role and from accredited institutions.
    • 12 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma/GED
    • 10 years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree
    • 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
    • 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
    • 4 years of relevant experience with a Doctorate
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Proven UI technical leadership experience.
  • Hands-on expertise developing user interfaces with the Angular Framework.
  • Experience analyzing JSON structures and working with ReST APIs.
  • Strong skills with CSS for UI styling and presentation.

Desired:
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or SAFe.
  • Exposure to AWS, MongoDB, and tools such as Balsamiq.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $113,200 - $237,800
