We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including insurance defense and commercial litigation. The position requires a high level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned paralegal to work on complex litigation matters in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting attorneys with all aspects of litigation including trial preparation, case management, discovery, and motions.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Coordinating and managing the collection, review, and production of documents in response to discovery requests.
  • Preparing for and attending hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Managing case files and maintaining case calendars.
  • Assisting with insurance defense and commercial litigation cases.
  • Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
  • Ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by attorneys.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Experience in civil litigation, ideally in a high-volume insurance defense, mass tort, or product liability matters.
  • Proficiency in hearing and trial preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal research platforms and litigation support software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent education and training is preferred.
