Network / Systems Engineer This role is designed for a versatile engineer with a dual mastery of
Linux administration and multi-vendor networking. You will ensure the stability and performance of a large-scale ecosystem, working across servers, virtualized systems, and high-end networking gear to keep critical infrastructure running at peak efficiency.
We aren't looking for a siloed specialist; we need an infrastructure "all-rounder" who is just as comfortable troubleshooting a Linux kernel as they are configuring a Juniper switch. This position offers a unique learning experience to manage a truly diverse tech stack including
Juniper, Arista, and Cisco hardware. If you thrive in high-scale environments where you can take full ownership of stability-from hands-on server maintenance to complex routing operations-this is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills at the center of a massive distributed network.
Required Skills & Experience - Advanced Linux Administration: Deep expertise in administering and troubleshooting Linux systems in a production environment.
- Multi-Vendor Networking: Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting skills with Juniper, Arista, and Cisco devices.
- L2/L3 Proficiency: Solid knowledge of routing and switching with a specific focus on large-scale network operations.
- Hardware Operations: Experience with server hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating physical replacements.
Desired Skills & Experience - Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar languages to streamline infrastructure tasks.
- Observability: Exposure to telemetry and advanced monitoring systems for proactive issue detection.
- Virtualization: Experience supporting and resolving connectivity issues within virtualized infrastructure.
What You Will Be Doing You will be the primary line of defense for a distributed infrastructure, responsible for the end-to-end health of both the OS and the network fabric. This includes configuring high-performance networking components, managing the lifecycle of server hardware, and participating in an on-call rotation for incident response. You will also play a key role in documenting procedures and identifying performance bottlenecks across the virtualized environment.

- 50% Networking (Routing/Switching)
Daily Responsibilities - 70% Hands-On (Configuring gear, Linux troubleshooting, and hardware maintenance)
- 10% Management Duties (Documentation and coordinating hardware vendors)
- 20% Team Collaboration (On-call rotation and cross-functional incident response)
