Role: Hardware Development Engineer (AWS Board Core Design)

Location: Seattle, WA or Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 24 Months

Job Description:

• 2+ years of new hardware products development experience
• 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience

Job Responsibilities

• Looking for a customer-obsessed, team-driven technology leader to take our engineering of server hardware to the next level.
• You will develop the building blocks for our next-generation servers.
• You will be responsible for the hardware design, development, and maintenance of the hardware component circuit boards.
• You will work on next generation technology, across multiple domains, including high speed interconnects, multi-core performant processors, and high-capacity multi-channel memory.
• You will directly contribute to the success of the EC2 servers by owning the component board from architecture, development, validation and operations.

Preferred qualifications

• 5 years of experience in server hardware design and validation
• Experience in managing ODM relationships and driving technical programs
• Experience in developing and implementing validation test plans
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with ODM partners

Education:

Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
