Position: Lead Analytics Engineer - mParticle

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer with strong backend development skills and hands-on experience in CX and Digital Analytics implementation. The role focuses on building scalable analytics foundations, event tracking, CDP integrations, and audience activation using platforms like mParticle and Mixpanel, while providing technical leadership across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend services/APIs using PHP (Laravel) or Node.js; develop light frontend tools using React
- Lead event instrumentation, data schemas, identity resolution, and tracking implementations in mParticle/Mixpanel
- Support analytics ingestion pipelines, microservices, and secure data flows
- Configure and manage paid media audience activation across Meta, Google, TikTok, DV360, etc.
- Deploy and support applications on AWS or Google Cloud Platform with CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, best practices, and cross-functional collaboration
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6 10 years of experience in analytics engineering, MarTech, or related roles
- Strong experience with CDP/Digital Analytics platforms (mParticle, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Proficiency in PHP/Laravel or Node.js; basic React
- Solid understanding of event tracking, SDKs, data schemas, and tagging strategies
- Experience with paid media integrations and audience segmentation
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform), databases, and Docker (Kubernetes a plus)
- Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
