SFCC / PWA Kit Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) / PWA Kit Developer with strong React and JavaScript development skills and hands-on expertise in Technical SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical storefront development experience with the ability to implement SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies across a modern headless commerce platform, improving search visibility, crawlability, performance, and discovery across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance headless e-commerce storefronts using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), PWA Kit, React, and JavaScript.

• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and storefront performance optimizations to improve SEO and user experience.

• Translate technical SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies into scalable storefront implementations.

• Implement and maintain structured data using Schema.org and JSON-LD.

• Manage metadata, canonical URLs, hreflang, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and SEO-friendly URLs.

• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page performance, crawlability, indexability, and site architecture.

• Implement and troubleshoot optimization requirements across Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Product Listing Pages (PLPs), content pages, and other storefront experiences.

• Support content discovery and visibility across traditional search engines, answer engines, and generative AI-powered search platforms.

• Collaborate with SEO, content, UX, and engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are implemented correctly.

• Troubleshoot rendering, indexing, structured data, and storefront performance issues.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and PWA Kit.

• Strong React.js, JavaScript, and modern front-end development skills.

• Experience with headless commerce architectures and server-side rendering.

• Hands-on technical SEO implementation experience.

• Working knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

• Experience with Schema.org, JSON-LD, metadata, canonical tags, hreflang, sitemaps, robots.txt, and redirects.

• Understanding of Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexability, and site performance.

• Experience optimizing e-commerce PDPs, PLPs, and content pages.
