OverviewWe are seeking
highly skilled Security Installation Technicians (Level III) to join a growing team supporting commercial and multifamily projects across
New York and New Jersey. This role is ideal for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with cutting-edge technology, and take pride in delivering high-quality installations.
You'll be working with
top-tier security systems and brands across access control, surveillance, and fire alarm systems-giving you continuous exposure to the latest technologies in the industry.
What You'll Be Doing- Install, configure, and support:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / IP Camera Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems (commercial-grade)
- Perform installations in commercial buildings and multi-unit residential complexes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Run, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling and other low-voltage wiring
- Install and work with conduit and structured cabling systems
- Program and commission security systems
- Ensure all installations meet local and national fire and safety codes
- Provide excellent customer service on job sites
- Mentor and assist junior technicians when needed
Technology & Systems You'll Work WithTechnicians will be hands-on with leading systems including but not limited to:
Brivo, Avigilon, Bosch, Genetec, Software House, LenelS2, AMAG, Honeywell, Hikvision, Openpath, Verkada, Axis, HIDThis role requires adaptability and a willingness to stay current with evolving technologies.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security system installation
- Strong expertise in:
- Access Control
- CCTV / IP Video Surveillance
- Commercial Fire Alarm Systems
- Proven ability to:
- Run & terminate Cat6 cable
- Install and bend conduit
- Read and follow blueprints
- Solid understanding of:
- Fire alarm components (pull stations, smoke detectors, panels, etc.)
- Commercial code compliance
- Experience working across multiple security platforms/brands
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience with multiple enterprise-level systems (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, etc.)
- Leadership or mentorship experience
- Certifications in low-voltage, fire alarm, or access control systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety
- Willingness to train and support junior team members

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $48.00/hr.
