PruTech is hiring a Director- Business Development to work in our Washington, DC office. Successful candidates will have opportunities to work with existing clients and/or develop new business in the Local, State, and Federal Government Sector. PruTech provides IT consulting and software development services to help Government and Fortune 500 companies achieve goals and build stronger organizational success. Responsibilities: Expand our IT Consulting Services in the Washington, DC Metro area. Sell IT Solutions and Services to senior client management. Conduct presentations, lead negotiations, coordinate sales decision-making processes, and overcome challenges to closure. Develop client relationships to build a sustained pipeline of opportunities. Assist senior PruTech managers in serving clients and improving the process. Meet and/or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals.
Job Requirements:
Selling services and Solutions to corporations. Selling experience in the IT staffing or IT service industry is preferred, but not necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. A results-oriented self-starter who can multitask and be motivated to exceed targets, goals, and expectations. Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes bachelor s Degree required. Some experience in Public Sector Business Development/Sales is a PLUS.
We are looking for winners to join us with the following background:
- Growing, expanding, and managing an IT consulting services practice for existing customers
- Successful Sales/Business Development experience in the IT consulting industry
- Extensive network/contacts with C-level executives (hiring managers)
- Experience working with Customer Vendor Management teams

- Effective Account Management / Capture Management in the Public Sector
- Ability to interact with senior IT management and C-level executives
- Pro-active, aggressive, and go-getter attitude towards the task at hand
- Sales/Business Development experience in the IT Staffing/consulting industry
- New account development capabilities
