RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in New Galilee, PA that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver hands-on and remote Tier 1-2 technical support in a Microsoft 365-first environment. This is a fully onsite role, requiring consistent punctuality, responsiveness, and presence to support end users effectively.
Responsibilities:
* End User Support: Provide Tier 1-2 end user support in person, by phone, and remotely; Manage, prioritize, document, and escalate tickets while delivering professional, customer-focused service
* Microsoft 365 Support: Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook/Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, addressing authentication, connectivity, sync, permissions, and client/device issues; Assist with file access and the ongoing M365 transformation
* Device Provisioning & Endpoint Management: Provision, configure, and deploy Windows devices using Intune and Windows Autopilot, including enrollment, policies, application deployment, Autopilot registration, troubleshooting provisioning or installation issues, and iOS device support
* Identity & Access Support: Support user authentication and access including Windows Hello for Business, MFA issues, and basic account troubleshooting while adhering to escalation paths and security boundaries
* Workstation Lifecycle & Hardware Support: Perform workstation lifecycle support including hardware setup, break/fix troubleshooting, repair coordination, inventory tracking, lifecycle planning, replacements, and asset movements
* Documentation & Knowledge Management: Create and maintain knowledge base articles and standardized documentation to promote consistency and reduce ticket volume
* Field & Jobsite Support: Provide occasional jobsite and field office support including network, peripheral, conference room/AV troubleshooting, and equipment transport
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field (or equivalent work experience)
* 3-5 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or End User Computing (EUC) roles
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (especially Outlook/Exchange Online and SharePoint/OneDrive), Microsoft Intune device enrollment, configuration, and application deployment basics, and Windows Autopilot provisioning concepts and troubleshooting
* Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 applications, and common endpoint hardware including laptops, docks, monitors, and printers
* Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills
* Ability to manage multiple tickets and tasks with strong follow-through in a dynamic environment
* Industry-related certifications preferred, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or similar
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
