Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to support retail and consumer goods business functions through data-driven insights, forecasting models, and advanced analytics. This role combines strong statistical expertise, data governance practices, and emerging AI/LLM capabilities to enhance decision-making and automate analytical workflow.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Analyze retail channel data (sales, inventory, performance metrics) using statistical and analytical techniques.
· Build and maintain forecasting and analytical models to support business decisions.
· Perform exploratory data analysis and translate insights into clear business recommendations.
· Own and govern data definitions, metrics, lineage, and quality standards for key data domains.
· Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, and documentation.
· Design and deploy AI or LLM-based agents to automate recurring analytics or data governance workflows.
· Advanced SQL and Python (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Statsmodels).
· Retail / consumer goods analytics experience (mandatory).
· Data analysis, forecasting, and statistical modeling expertise.
· Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and stewardship practices.
· Experience with data pipelines and platforms (Airflow, dbt, Spark or similar).
· Hands-on exposure to AI agents or LLM-powered analytical solutions.
