This role demands deep backend development expertise, robust DevOps capabilities, and a relentless focus on operational excellence to deliver high-performance, zero-downtime, and inherently secure systems in a demanding production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Develop Production Systems: Architect and optimize high-throughput, zero-downtime microservices (Java, SpringBoot, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka) with an inherent focus on scalability, security, and resilience from design to deployment.

Operational Lifecycle Management: Drive application lifecycle with an emphasis on high availability, performance tuning (JVM optimization), security practices, and comprehensive testing for production readiness.

Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Implement and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, including EKS, Docker, and Helm, ensuring robust security and compliance standards.

Automated & Secure CI/CD: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git), integrating security gates, automated testing, and reliable deployment strategies.

Advanced Traffic Management & Security: Configure and optimize Nginx for intelligent load balancing, traffic management, and DDoS mitigation to ensure performance, reliability, and protection.

Proactive Monitoring & Incident Response: Leverage Splunk for comprehensive monitoring, logging, proactive threat detection, and real-time operational insights across the system stack.

P1 Debugging & Production Support: Apply expert troubleshooting skills to rapidly diagnose and resolve critical P1 incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing production support, including on-call rotations.

Operational Efficiency: Utilize AI tools (RooCode, Claude) to enhance development, security analysis, and operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance: Actively contribute to security reviews, vulnerability management, and best practices for data protection and access control.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of professional Java development experience, including 3+ years with MongoDB, focused on production-grade, highly concurrent applications.

Proven expertise in designing, developing, and operating highly available, distributed, scalable, and secure enterprise systems in production.

Strong command of Spring Boot, Redis, Kafka, and Microservices architecture, with an emphasis on resilience and observability.

Extensive experience with AWS deployments, EKS cluster management (including security and scaling), Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

Proficiency in CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Maven, Git) with a focus on security automation and deployment reliability.

Deep understanding of Nginx, Load Balancing, HTTP specifications, CDN, and DDoS protection mechanisms.

Expertise in performance tuning (JVM, memory profiling) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) for production stability.

Familiarity with template-driven rendering, client/server MVC architectures, and advanced Splunk usage for incident management and operational analytics.

Hands-on experience with AI tools (RooCode, Claude) for development and operations.

Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile, and exceptional troubleshooting skills with a proven track record in P1 incident resolution and post-mortem analysis.

Self-starter with strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, especially during critical incident management.
