Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role requires strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, AWS operations, and PowerShell automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with application and security teams to maintain reliable, scalable, and compliant IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Azure & Cloud Enterprise Services

• Administer Azure Enterprise Applications, including SSO configuration, conditional access policies, and application lifecycle management
• Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for user provisioning, identity governance, access control, and security compliance
• Deploy and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, storage accounts, and networking components
• Implement Azure security frameworks, monitor compliance, and enforce governance policies

Directory Services & Network Infrastructure

• Administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) including domain controllers, organizational units (OUs), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Manage DNS infrastructure to ensure reliable name resolution in hybrid environments
• Configure and maintain DHCP services, including scope management, reservations, and failover
• Implement and manage directory synchronization between on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD

Virtualization & Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms
• Optimize virtual machine performance, resource allocation, and capacity planning
• Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for virtualized systems

AWS Cloud Operations

• Manage AWS EC2, S3, VPC networking, and security groups
• Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS environments

PowerShell Scripting & Automation

• Develop PowerShell scripts for system automation, reporting, monitoring, and administrative tasks
• Create and maintain Azure PowerShell and AWS PowerShell modules for cloud resource management

System Administration & Operations

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and implement proactive solutions
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to change management and ITIL processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while enforcing security standards and governance policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to meet performance objectives and project deadlines

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure administration and Azure Enterprise Applications
• Extensive experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Strong background in virtualization technologies and backup solutions
• Practical experience with AWS services and PowerShell automation

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator
