The Role

As a Transmission Line Engineer, you will transition from foundational engineering to leading your own projects. Working under the mentorship of seasoned industry experts, you will manage the full project lifecycle-from initial scoping to final construction. This role serves as a primary stakeholder contact, offering a unique blend of technical design and project leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead project scoping phases and see projects through to closure.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and cross-functional teams (Right-of-Way, Environmental, Station Engineering, Telecom, and Construction).
  • Conduct construction site visits to ensure design compliance (under senior mentorship).
  • Engineer transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
  • Design foundations utilizing MFAD software.
  • Produce load sheets and detailed drawings for custom steel poles.
  • Develop comprehensive material lists and "Issue for Construction" (IFC) specification books.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 2-4 Years of Transmission Line Engineering Experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Software:

    • PLS Cadd (required)
    • EIT (preferred)
    • MFAD (preferred)
