Insurance Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce client in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Property & Casualty insurance industry experience. In addition to having Guidewire Policy Center experience, the relevant candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge related to Admitted/Commercial LOB's including General Liability, Inland Marine, COP, etc. This is a long-term contract and must be able to work on-site 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:
* Analyze ISO and AAIS Admitted lines issues to determine root causes, validate defects, and assess the applicability and business value of enhancement requests
* Develop business and functional requirements for defects and enhancements following established SDLC processes
* Evaluate defects for performance, usability, and root-cause resolution opportunities
* Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements-gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations
* Lead review sessions with key stakeholders to obtain consensus and approval of business and functional requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong Business Analyst experience in Commercial P&C Insurance
* Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
* Understanding of admitted insurance products and multi-state regulatory environments
* Strong knowledge of General Liability (GL) with additional LOB experience with Inland Marine, COP, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Property, and Package are also highly preferred
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience:
* Commercial Property and Package products
* ISO, AAIS, and NAIC familiarity
* Experience working across multiple jurisdictions (52-state environment)
* Azure DevOps (ADO) for story and ticket management
* Fresh Service for incident tracking and triage

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
