Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite)
Duration: 24 Months

Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Software Engineer 4 to support complex data engineering and ETL initiatives within a large enterprise banking environment. This role will lead moderately complex technical initiatives, contribute to strategic planning efforts, and serve as a key escalation and guidance point for team members.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in TSQL, SSIS, and ETL development, along with strong experience working in structured Agile environments.



Key Responsibilities




  • Lead moderately complex technical initiatives within enterprise data environments


  • Design, develop, test, debug, and document ETL and database solutions


  • Contribute to large-scale strategy planning for data and technology initiatives


  • Evaluate and resolve complex technical challenges across multiple platforms


  • Collaborate with peers, product teams, and mid-level managers to meet deliverables


  • Serve as an escalation point and provide guidance to junior team members


  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise compliance and regulatory requirements




Required Qualifications




  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience (6+ preferred)


  • Strong hands-on experience with:



    • TSQL


    • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)


    • ETL development


    • Git


    • Jira


    • Scrum/Kanban (Agile methodologies)





Preferred / Strongly Desired Skills




  • Oracle and Teradata


  • AutoSys (job scheduling)


  • Big Data environments


  • SSAS Tabular models


  • PowerBI and/or MicroStrategy


  • Prior experience in banking or large financial services environments




Ideal Candidate Profile




  • Strong problem solver comfortable in complex enterprise ecosystems


  • Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments


  • Ability to lead initiatives while remaining hands-on technically


  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
