Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)Employment Type: ContractContract Duration: 12 MonthsRole Overview
This position is for a Senior Developer with strong knowledge in building Generative AI solutions. This role is responsible for building or optimizing Generative AI solutions to help the business address complex problems. This is a hands-on developer position requiring active coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Generative AI projects using open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, GPT OSS, Gemma, Mistral) and proprietary APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
- Fine-tune Large Language Models like LLAMA2 and GPT-4 for various tasks using custom datasets.
- Develop and apply expertise in prompting Large Language Models such as GPT-4, GPT-3, LLAMA2, and Gemini Pro.
- Build and integrate APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving machine learning models.
- Utilize strong Python development skills, including Pandas and NumPy, for data analysis and feature engineering.
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Deploy machine learning models to platforms like Streamlit, HuggingFace Spaces, or Heroku.
- Apply NLP techniques such as word embeddings, topic modeling, and search (FAISS, Elastic Search).
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Expertise in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, NetworkX, and NLTK.
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure ML.
- Strong background in various machine learning models like Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression (LR), Random Forest, Nave Bayes, and Neural Networks.
- Experience with machine learning libraries like PyTorch and HuggingFace.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
- Hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions on text data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fine-tuning and optimizing open-source LLM/SLM.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and Orchestration.
- Experience with the application of Deep Learning to various NLP tasks.
- Experience working with Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Discourse semantics, Discourse Representation Theory (DRTs), and related tools (e.g., Boxer, Neural DRS, JAMR).
Compensation & Benefits
A competitive compensation package is available for this role. The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.06 per hour.
