Role Summary
This position oversees contract renewals and vendor relationships within the technology procurement space. It involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless sourcing, management, and renewal of IT assets and services. The role requires a proactive approach, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate dynamic environments to support organizational procurement objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee contract renewals for IT vendors and service providers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure effective procurement processes.
- Collaborate with finance, IT asset management, and other business units to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide guidance on technology sourcing options, including SaaS, cloud solutions, and networking services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor communications.
- Support internal stakeholders in resolving procurement-related issues.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in vendor management and technology sourcing.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding procurement status and vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS, cloud computing, and networking technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Proven experience managing contract renewals and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong business acumen and emotional intelligence when interacting with senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Availability to work in a fully remote capacity.
Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.00 USD Hourly
