Graphic Designer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with a creative mindset and a strong passion for design to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This contract position is ideal for someone with over three years of experience who excels in developing visually appealing and impactful designs. The role requires proficiency in industry-standard tools and an ability to craft designs that effectively communicate ideas.

Responsibilities:
Create visually engaging designs for digital and print media, including brochures, advertisements, and presentations.
Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and execute design projects that align with company goals.
Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator to create high-quality graphics.
Develop branding assets that maintain consistency and enhance the company's image.
Revise and refine designs based on feedback to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Stay updated on design trends and incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
Prepare final layouts and ensure all design elements are optimized for production or publication.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Creative Cloud applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating brochures and other marketing materials.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Familiarity with preparing designs for both digital and print formats.
