Job description
Seeking a Security Architect with deep AWS expertise who can design, evaluate, and articulate architecture decisions specifically how architectural choices impact security controls across cloud environments.
This role requires someone who can go beyond certifications and demonstrate real architectural thinking, domain fluency, and the ability to scale across multiple technology areas.
Required Qualifications:
Expert-level AWS knowledge; ability to speak in depth about AWS services, architecture patterns, and tradeoffs.
Strong understanding of security architecture, including controls, threat modeling, and secure design principles.
Broad exposure to multiple technology domains (e.g., databases, front end, integrations) with the ability to scale into new areas.
Demonstrated ability to translate architecture decisions into security impacts.
AWS Professional certification strongly preferred (Architect Pro ideal).
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in cloud security engineering or architecture.
Experience working in large-scale, multi-domain environments.
Strong adaptability and willingness to learn deeper security architecture concepts where needed.
