Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise applications in a hybrid environment based in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-level .NET applications throughout the full software development lifecycle, including cloud-hosted environments and production support.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Web APIs, SQL Server, and AWS, along with proven experience supporting applications within the Insurance, Risk Modeling, and Underwriting domains. This role requires a blend of application development, production support, service management, cloud operations, and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade .NET applications.
• Build and maintain applications using:
• C#
• ASP.NET
• MVC
• Angular
• Web APIs
• SQL Server
• Provide production support for enterprise applications, including:
• Troubleshooting
• Incident resolution
• Root cause analysis
• Performance optimization
• Lead and support IT service management processes, including:
• Release Management
• Change Management
• Incident Management
• Problem Management
• Develop and maintain applications hosted on AWS Cloud.
• Leverage cloud APIs and services to monitor, manage, and optimize cloud resources.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across:
• Insurance
• Risk Modeling
• Underwriting
• Participate in application modernization initiatives and technology transformation programs.
• Utilize GenAI tools and automation practices to improve development efficiency and application support.
• Ensure application reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• 10 - 12 years of experience in .NET application development and support.
• Strong expertise in:
• C#
• ASP.NET
• MVC
• Hands-on experience with Angular.
• Strong experience developing and consuming:
• Web APIs
• FastAPI (preferred/related API framework experience)
• Advanced SQL development experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience supporting and maintaining production applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS-hosted applications.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring and management.
• Experience with application enhancement, maintenance, and modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience managing enterprise application support and service operations.
