Data Engineering Engineer 3 (Google Cloud Platform) job responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion and curation pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT/Dataform, and modern cloud tools.
- Architect end?to?end data flows on Google Cloud Platform-leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions-to ensure secure, reliable, and high?performance data delivery.
- Implement strong data governance, access controls, and security best practices to protect sensitive data across cloud environments.
- Automate workflows and infrastructure provisioning using Astronomer and Terraform, promoting best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Continuously monitor, optimize, and enhance pipeline performance, cost efficiency, and scalability across Google Cloud Platform data platforms.
- Collaborate with architects and cross?functional teams to define standards, communicate technical decisions, and ensure high?quality data engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years in Data Engineering or Software Engineering, including at least 2 years building and deploying cloud?based data platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java with hands?on experience designing cloud?native pipelines using Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataProc.
- Experience with SOA/microservices architectures and Infrastructure?as?Code tools like Terraform, along with CI/CD automation frameworks.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
