Summary

Job Title: Python Developer with AWS

Location: Richmond VA (Onsite)

Contract: W2 only.

Must have :AWS, AWS Glue, AWS Batch, Java Springboot, Python (must have)

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to help design, build, and scale the backend systems that power our digital asset trading platform. This is a hands-on development role focused on Python, Django, and AWS serverless infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and RESTful APIs.
Build automated workflows and scripts for data processing, system integrations, and DevOps tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Architects.
Ensure high performance, test coverage, and code quality via TDD and CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and security compliance checks.
Integrate applications with cloud services (preferably AWS ) and containerized platforms.

Qualifications

9+ years of professional software development experience
Strong Python and Django expertise
Solid experience with AWS serverless architecture
PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS experience (5+ years preferred)
Experience in FinTech environments is a plus
Self-starter who thrives in high-ownership, fast-paced environments
