Position Overview

Location: Raleigh, NC (Strictly Local to North Carolina Only)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Skills & Requirements (What We Are Looking For)

To excel in this position, your background must include strong experience across these core areas:

Cloud Platform Administration: Strong hands-on experience administering major cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (compute, storage, networking, and security configurations).
Scripting & Automation: Proven ability to handle scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Security & Access Management: Deep knowledge of cloud security protocols, identity & access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance frameworks.
Monitoring & Cost Optimization: Solid experience using cloud monitoring, logging, and capacity planning tools to optimize performance and drive cost efficiency.
Mandatory Background: State Government or Public Sector experience is REQUIRED for this role.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and supporting large-scale enterprise cloud migrations.

Main Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure-related incidents to ensure maximum uptime and seamless business operations.
Partner closely with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud infrastructure with overarching organizational goals.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for rapid cloud provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
