Job Title: CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer
Location: Mossville, IL Onsite
Duration: 12 Months Contract & extendable
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Travel: Up to 25% (Domestic)
Pay Rate - $30/hr on W2/Danta Technologies Payroll
About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer to support Supplier Quality and Manufacturing operations. This role focuses on advanced PC-DMIS programming, inspection strategy development, and dimensional problem resolution for machined engine components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, run, debug, and maintain PC-DMIS CMM programs
- Translate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings into inspection routines
- Support receiving inspection, APQP/PPAP, warranty investigations, and line issues
- Analyze inspection data and support root cause analysis
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality teams, and suppliers
- Provide shop floor and CMM lab technical support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience (Associate's with equivalent experience accepted)
- Advanced PC-DMIS programming (Level 3 – Hexagon trained preferred)
- Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Experience with machined components
- Solid data analysis and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Excel, Power BI
- Zeiss Calypso, PolyWorks
- Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Engineering experience
