ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Sr. Associate Facilities - Electrical for a 12+ month contract position with our client, a Major Pharmaceutical Company, located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This position is fully onsite. Summary: This role is part of the Facilities & Engineering team and is responsible for providing maintenance leadership and technical expertise for a Final Drug Product Operation Facility. The ideal candidate will support facility infrastructure, utility systems, and production suites within a regulated cGxP environment, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
Responsibilities: - Support a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health/safety practices, rules, and regulations
- Support the efficient operation of site facility infrastructure systems, including all utility and electrical systems
- Monitor all system status and analyze trends
- Develop maintenance strategies and programs (preventative, corrective, predictive) to ensure cost-effective and reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems
- Work in a regulated cGxP environment to identify engineering needs for site facilities
- Define projects, develop innovative solutions, determine engineered solutions, develop project documentation, and obtain resources
- Represent the site as a Facilities SME
- Lead and support system improvements, development of detailed specifications, engineering documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Lead technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshoot issues related to facility equipment/systems
- Manage drawings for Facilities and Supporting areas
Requirements: - Experience in an FDA (GMP) or comparable regulated environment, preferably in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology industry
- Strong knowledge in facilities operations with an emphasis on electrical and utilities supporting a pharmaceutical facility
- Experience with the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical facility and utilities equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) and 2 years of Engineering and/or Facilities Maintenance work experience OR
- Associate's degree and 4 years of Engineering and/or Facilities Maintenance work experience OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Engineering and/or Facilities Maintenance work experience
Desired skills: Pay range: up to $43.52 per hour
