Summary

The Vision Products Group is looking for an exceptional Software Test Automation Engineer to help us build the next generation of Mixed Reality interactive solutions for Apple platforms. You'll partner in testing and developing the next generation of our state-of-the art connectivity technologies. You'll design and develop sophisticated automated frameworks that validate complex spatial experiences on visionOS, working closely with engineering teams to ensure world-class reliability and user experience.

If you are a highly motivated engineer with aspirations to spearhead automated validation initiatives, construct robust automation systems and testing frameworks while nurturing a culture of learning and growth across various Apple teams, we want to talk to you!

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar.\n3+ years of relevant experience working as a SDET or automation engineer.\nStrong object-oriented programming preferably in Python/Swift, designing and developing frameworks, building automated tests for consumer or enterprise technologies.\nSolid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), using Git for version control and CI/CD integration.\nExperience in identifying performance KPIs for evaluation, creating test setups to capture metrics, and creating UI dashboards for data visualization.\nAbility to investigate, debug and triage problems and independently work towards results across different layers of stack through automation.\nAbility to independently work with cross functional teams on new features, bring up automated test setups for verification.\nAbility to quickly prototype ideas/solutions, perform critical analysis, and use creative approaches for solving complex problems.

Hands-on experience working with AR/VR products and ecosystems.\nKnowledge of the Apple development ecosystem using Xcode, Xcode Cloud, and XCTest/XCUITest.\nBasic knowledge of networking standards like IPv4, TCP/UDP, and/or wireless protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.\nHands on experience with deploying Machine Learning tools to demonstrate real-time telemetry data.\nFamiliarity with Gen AI coding tools. Demonstrated ability to use them for design, code generation, and debugging.\nAdvanced degree in Computer Science, or a related field.\n
