Essential Job Functions- Collaborate with internal partners to identify high-impact opportunities for predictive and prescriptive analytics
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to support decision[1]making and optimize business processes
- Design and conduct experiments (e.g. A/B testing) to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes
- Present complex findings in a clear, actionable way through visualizations, dashboards, interactive applications, or technical reports
- Create and maintain production-ready pipelines for data science models
- Partner with the Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams to improve data quality, define key metrics, and develop reusable data assets
- Mentor analysts and other self-service data consumers in advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
- Detect anomalies, forecast key business trends, and provide proactive recommendations
Other Skills & Abilities- Strong programming skills in Python or R; familiarity with Julia or similar languages is a plus
- Prior experience making or publishing analytical web apps (e.g. Shiny, Streamlit)
- Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Advanced knowledge of statistics, experimental design, and predictive modeling
- Skilled in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets
- Familiarity with deploying and maintaining models in production
- Comfortable with BI tools and integrating data science outputs into business processes
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, applied math, data science, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related role
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end machine learning, optimization, or forecasting solutions
Physical Requirements- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
