Summary

Job Title:Kotlin Backend Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12 Months + Extension

Bill Rate: $80/hour

Job Type: W-2 Contract

Client: To Be Discussed Later

Work Authorization: US-Citizen, H-1B, OPT-EAD, GC-EAD

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Kotlin.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
Develop robust, secure, and high-performance backend services.
Work with Kotlin/JVM, Java, Spring Boot, and related backend frameworks.
Design and integrate APIs with databases, third-party services, and internal systems.
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Implement unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality.
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and other development teams.
Develop applications that are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
