Summary

Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite) – Please send local candidates to Raleigh

Duration: 18 Months

Must Haves:

5+ years as a Senior-level QA Engineer / QA Lead experience
Strong TypeScript and Python and test automation skills
Experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Jasmine, Behave
QA test design expertise, test strategy, test plan builds, and test scenarios
Backend testing experience – API, database and integration testing
Experience working in Scrum sprints with user stories and user acceptance testing
Pluses:
Performance testing experience
Experience with Java/Selenium environments (part of team uses Selenium and Java)
Experience with data regression testing
ClaudCode
Experience collaborating with DevOps, developers, and performance analysts

Day to Day:

Experience with JIRA or other similar test management tools
Design and build QA test plans, test scenarios, and automation frameworks in Python
Execute backend-focused testing for new core services supporting the entire product
Participate in Scrum sprints, including user stories, UAT, and test scenario development
Perform regular regression testing and automation impact analysis
Participate in troubleshooting and triage with developers, DevOps, and analysts
Support data regression testing
Contribute to automation, traceability, and metrics while minimizing paperwork
Ensure quality ownership through delivery
