Project Manager

Location & Work Arrangement

• City, State: Cayce, SC
• Work Arrangement: Remote (Candidates must currently reside in the Eastern Time Zone).
• Travel: Occasional quarterly travel to Cayce, SC, may be required for key project milestones.
• Interview Mode: One Round Virtual (Microsoft Teams).

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Security Modernization

• Plan and oversee modernization efforts for core platforms, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
• Ensure all projects align with recognized security standards, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, CIS Controls, and state-specific policies.
• Support audit readiness by coordinating documentation and evidence collection for infrastructure hardening.

Project Lifecycle Management

• Lead projects through all phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, and Closeout.
• Develop project charters, scope statements, risk registers, and feasibility studies.
• Maintain centralized visibility and reporting for executive leadership using tools like Azure DevOps, MS Project, and SharePoint.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with IT leadership, Security teams, and Business stakeholders to prioritize the project portfolio.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and change management processes for all production system modifications.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Active PMP Certification is highly desired.
• Public Sector: Experience managing Security/Infrastructure projects within government agencies.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA, CJIS, and CDC IT security requirements.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
