Title: Senior Integration/Data Engineer (Google Cloud Platform Data Fusion, Informatica, Java)

Client: is seeking an Integration/Data Engineer with 8–12 years of experience to lead the design and delivery of robust data integration solutions using Google Cloud Data Fusion, Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS), and Java. You will own critical pipelines, set engineering standards, and mentor a small team while partnering with architects and product leaders to enable high-quality analytics and operational data flows.

Responsibilities

Involved in end-to-end design and implementation of scalable batch and real-time data pipelines in Data Fusion and Informatica.
Reusable ETL/ELT frameworks, enforce coding standards, and drive performance, reliability, and cost optimization.
Build custom transformations, connectors, and utilities in Java; integrate with APIs/microservices and event streams.
Implement and govern data quality, lineage, and metadata standards; champion observability and SLAs/SLOs.
Ensure data security and compliance (RBAC, encryption, PII handling, DLP) and auditability across environments.
Troubleshoot complex production issues; lead root-cause analysis and long-term remediation.
Mentor engineers, review designs/code, and contribute to roadmaps and capacity planning.
Document architectures, runbooks, and best practices; influence tooling and platform choices.
