Position:Systems Administrator (Windows Servers)

Pay Rate:$37.00 per hour (W2 Only)
HYBRID: Must work ONSITE MON-THUR / 40 Hours / LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!!
DAILY TASK INCLUDE:
Scripting knowledge in batch files, VBScript, and PowerShell, Microsoft SQL Queries
Install, configure, maintain, and address vulnerabilities for Windows server (Strong ability) and some Linux
Install and configure database servers (such as Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres)
Install and configure middleware (such as IIS)
Install, manage, configure PRTG monitoring environments
VMware and virtual machines
Documentation or technical writing
General IT processes and project methodologies
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of relevant systems administration or IT infrastructure experience.
Hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and addressing vulnerabilities on Windows servers.
Experience supporting Linux servers.
Scripting knowledge using batch files, VBScript, and PowerShell.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL queries and experience installing and configuring database servers, such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Experience installing and configuring middleware, such as IIS.
Experience installing, configuring, and managing PRTG monitoring environments.
Experience working with VMware and virtual machines.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and security best practices.
Ability to follow and document technical processes and procedures.
Knowledge of change management processes, general IT processes, and project or development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and communication skills.
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent related experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
ServiceNow Knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of Nutanix is a plus
Knowledge of Devicewise is a plus
