Role Overview

Client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solutions Architect to support a large financial client. This role focuses heavily on ServiceNow Vulnerability Response / Vulnerability Management, including implementation, administration, and migration of existing custom applications (Angular/Java) into the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working with limited instruction while translating complex business logic into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead assessment of existing vulnerability remediation tools, processes, and support models

Define requirements and architect ServiceNow-based solutions and implementation plans

Translate custom Angular/Java application features and business rules into ServiceNow

Evaluate out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality vs current systems and identify gaps

Design and configure ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, ITSM, ITOM, and KMS modules

Assist with governance routines, workflows, and business rules

Convert existing reporting (Tableau/UI/etc.) into ServiceNow reporting

Train internal teams on ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and platform capabilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand vulnerability categorization, assignment, and routing logic

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

7+ years of ServiceNow experience with strong focus on Vulnerability Response

SME-level expertise in ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module

Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, remediation, and patching

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and KMS modules

Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow architecture

Ability to translate business processes into ServiceNow configurations and workflows

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
