About the Role

We're looking for a contract engineer to help make application health observable, actionable, and trustworthy. Today, excessive and noisy logging makes it difficult to distinguish meaningful failures from expected client or configuration errors, and interpreting alerts often depends on tribal knowledge held by only a few people. This role will bring clarity and structure to monitoring and alerting so issues can be caught and understood faster, by anyone.

What You'll Do

Rationalize existing logs and establish clear, actionable signals
Fix bugs as needed to clean up error logs, then build, test, and deploy the changes
Build dashboards, alerts, and anomaly detection to surface real issues
Automate alerting to automatically open incidents in xMatters

What We're Looking For

3–5 years of experience as a mid-level engineer with strong C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET skills
Working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end work
Experience designing or improving observability, logging, or alerting systems is a strong plus
