Electrical I&E Engineer, Chemical Manufacturing Plant

Pay: $86,000 to $110,000 per year, plus sign-on bonus and 8% to 12% annual bonus
Serve as the site electrical engineer at a chemical plant for a global technology leader, owning power systems, arc flash, and electrical safety.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 2+ years of experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives, and motors
- Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution, substations, transformers, and breakers
- 2+ years of facility engineering experience
- Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills
- Ability to work at heights and climb stairs and ladders
What You?ll Do
- Serve as the Site Electrical Engineer within the Maintenance Department
- Maintain and update single line diagrams and arc flash analysis and labeling
- Act as the NFPA 70E Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
- Specify preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Support PLCs, instrumentation, DCS, UPS, and low voltage and DC plant systems
- Provide maintenance input on new process equipment specifications
- Support plant projects and long-term planning
Nice-to-Haves
- Chemical manufacturing experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and FMEA
- Thermography and motor circuit analysis
