Pay Range: $40 - $43/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- The Junior Project Manager directs all activities across initiating, planning, executing and closing phases, as well as monitoring and controlling of assigned projects, and ensuring projects are delivered according to the delivery standard.
- Coordinate activities with the project sponsor and project leader to help define the project and finalize the project charter (high-level objectives in terms of scope, schedule, and resources, deliverables/milestones, and success criteria)
- Lead project planning sessions with all project stakeholders, capturing WBS activities into an integrated project schedule
- Monitor & control the day-to-day project activities and reflect progress in the project schedule and RAID log
- Establish and facilitate appropriate project governance, including project status and steering committee meeting cadences; prepare meeting agendas, and track action items
- Capture and summarize meeting notes, actions, decision and action logs and communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Leverage project schedule and RAID log to drive alignment on and communication of status of deliverables and milestones, and key risks/issues affecting progress
- Lead risk mitigation and issue contingency discussions to escalate (as necessary) and address obstacles
- Ensure project artifacts (technical, legal, contract, financial, etc.) are organized, contents are updated timely and accessible to project teams
- Other project related activities as assigned
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must Haves: 3–5 years of Project Management / Project Coordinator experience.
- Strong project planning & scheduling
- RAID & project governance experience
- Medical Device experience is must
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) / digital experience projects
- E-commerce website projects
- SAP + Salesforce (SFDC) integration projects
- Managing projects involving multiple software/application integrations
- Experience maintaining technical, legal, financial, and contractual project artifacts
- Strong project planning & scheduling
- RAID & project governance experience
- PMP/CAPM + relevant project methodology
- Healthcare / Biotech / Medical Device experience
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) / digital experience projects
- E-commerce website projects
- SAP + Salesforce (SFDC) integration projects
- Managing projects involving multiple software/application integrations
- Experience maintaining technical, legal, financial, and contractual project artifacts
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Active PMP, CAPM or similar certifications, or working towards one
- 3-5 Years of experience in similar roles
- Intermediate to Advanced PPM software experience (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to communicate succinctly based on audiences
- Industry experience: Healthcare, Biotechnology or Medical Device
- Experience leading projects involving ecommerce websites and digital experience/asset management platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Experience leading projects involving technology being delivered in both agile and waterfall (hybrid/mixed) methodologies
- Experience leading projects involving integrating multiple software applications such as SAP and SFDC
