Senior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Data Governance
Lead the refinement, validation, and ongoing maintenance of the enterprise data dictionary.
Work directly with business SMEs to define, clarify, and validate data definitions, calculations, and business rules.
Document data lineage, transformations, and report logic clearly and consistently.
Identify data quality issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them.
Business & Technical Collaboration
Act as a Business Analyst when necessary to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
Partner with business analysts to validate data logic and ensure consistency across requirements, applications, and reporting solutions.
Translate business rules into clear technical specifications for analytics and reporting solutions.
Reporting & Analytics Development
Design, develop, and maintain reports using Power BI and SSRS.
Support report conversion and redevelopment during application migration initiatives.
Deliver reliable reporting solutions to support operational and analytical needs.
Database & Data Warehouse Support
Provide advanced SQL Server expertise, including complex queries, functions, and stored procedures.
Support data warehouse development, optimization, and indexing strategies.
Analyze system tables and performance metrics to support reporting and application needs.
Project Coordination
Communicate progress, risks, and data-related issues to the IT Project Manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on enterprise data standards.
