Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI-First Engineer – Oracle SCM / ERP Applications to lead the adoption and implementation of AI-driven software engineering practices across our Oracle SCM/ERP engineering organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle ERP/SCM applications, combined with proven experience using AI coding assistants, Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI workflows, and AI-powered automation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

This role will define and drive an AI-first engineering strategy, mentor engineering teams, identify opportunities for AI-led automation, and demonstrate innovative ways AI can improve software development, testing, integration, support, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and establish AI-first software development practices for Oracle SCM/ERP engineering teams.
• Drive adoption of AI coding assistants, LLM-based tools, agentic workflows, and AI-powered developer productivity solutions.
• Apply AI to requirements analysis, design, coding, code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering and business processes using AI and LLM technologies.
• Develop and demonstrate proofs of concept, prototypes, and reusable AI solutions for Oracle ERP/SCM use cases.
• Collaborate with Oracle functional and technical teams to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Mentor and coach engineering teams on effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Establish best practices, standards, and guidelines for AI adoption within Oracle engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, coding assistants, frameworks, and agentic development approaches.
• Continuously explore and demonstrate new AI capabilities that can improve Oracle SCM/ERP engineering.
• Improve engineering productivity, software quality, development speed, and operational efficiency through AI adoption.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Ensure AI-generated code and solutions meet standards for security, quality, maintainability, scalability, and compliance.
• Define and track metrics to measure the impact of AI adoption on engineering productivity and quality.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Oracle ERP/SCM engineering, development, integration, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SCM/ERP applications.
• Proven recent experience incorporating AI tools and practices into software development workflows.
• Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants or AI developer tools.
• Practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software development.
• Experience designing or implementing AI-driven automation or agentic workflows.
• Strong programming and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Oracle integrations, APIs, extensions, and technical architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM.
• Experience with PL/SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Cloud technologies.
• Experience building AI agents, LLM-powered applications, RAG solutions, or intelligent automation.
• Familiarity with AI development tools and platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows.
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineering teams.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, responsible AI, and enterprise data protection.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise ERP environments.
