About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Oracle NetSuite Finance Functional Lead to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this high-visibility, customer-facing onshore role, you will serve as the primary strategic advisor and execution lead for our clients'''' NetSuite Financial Management transformations.

You will bridge the gap between business strategy and system architecture, translating complex client financial accounting requirements into scalable NetSuite ecosystems. If you thrive in dynamic, client-facing environments and love mentoring delivery teams, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory & Leadership: Serve as the primary onshore functional lead, engaging directly with client Finance/Accounting stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers) to gather requirements, validate designs, and drive critical architecture decisions.

• Core Module Configuration: Hands-on configuration and support of NetSuite Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, and Multi-currency/Multi-subsidiary (OneWorld).

• Financial Architecture: Design Chart of Accounts, subsidiary structures, intercompany relationships, and consolidation settings tailored to complex corporate reporting demands.

• Tax & Workflow Automation: Configure SuiteTax, tax codes, groups, and multi-jurisdiction compliance setups. Design SuiteFlow approval workflows for JEs, vendor bills, expenses, and payments.

• Delivery Management: Coordinate day-to-day offshore delivery activities, assigning tasks, reviewing functional configurations, tracking milestones, and acting as the core escalation point for the team.

• Reporting & Close Optimization: Support month-end and period-end close processes, revenue recognition configurations (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), and build custom financial analytics via NetSuite saved searches and SuiteAnalytics.

• Data Migration & Testing: Lead financial data migration strategies via CSV imports (COA, opening balances, customer/vendor masters). Author test scripts, lead SIT/UAT phases, and deliver training to end-users.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Oracle NetSuite functional consulting experience, including at least two full-cycle NetSuite Finance implementations in a Lead or Senior Consultant capacity.

• Functional Depth: 3+ years of deep, hands-on configuration experience across NetSuite GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Rec, and OneWorld.

• Global Environments: 2+ years of proven setup experience with SuiteTax, multi-currency, intercompany transactions, and financial consolidations.

• Tooling: 2+ years of experience leveraging SuiteFlow for automated workflows and managing complex data migrations via CSV.

• Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Certifications: NetSuite ERP Consultant or SuiteFoundation certifications.

• Advanced Modules: Experience with Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) or NetSuite Budgeting & Planning.

• Accounting Pedigree: CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting credential.

• Technical Familiarity: Basic exposure to SuiteScript (Tier 1) or SuiteQL for minor configurations and custom reports.

• Module Exposure: Familiarity with SuiteCommerce, Payroll, or Project Accounting.

• Strong capabilities in managing distributed/offshore delivery teams effectively.
