DNS and AWS are the keys.
Required:
-Strong understanding of DNS and related protocols such as DHCP, as well as DNS security principles and best practices.
-Hands-on experience with AWS Route 53 in addition to commercial and/or open-source DNS platforms. Examples include Infoblox, Bluecat, nsd/unbound, bind, PowerDNS, etc.
-Scripting/Automation tools such as python, ansible
-Experience building infrastructure in AWS (EC2, S3, docker/kubernetes, NLB, AWS networking, including PrivateLink)
Plus:
-No specific certifications required, but AWS Solution Architect and/or AWS Advanced Networking are beneficial.
The Connectivity A&I team requests to add two DNS Engineering contractors to assist with the integration of the client and Discover DNS infrastructure.
• Specific tasks will include assisting with ongoing IPAM cleanup, vendor selection and proof-of-concept testing in the network lab, and production implementation of new DNS systems, to include IPAM, recursive resolvers, authoritative DNS, and DHCP.
• This individual will also support migration of applications from DFS datacenters to the COF AWS environment.
Key skills include:
