Job Summary

We are looking for an Associate Systems Engineer (Azure Data) to support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role will work with data engineering and technology teams to manage data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable and efficient data processing.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data integration processes.
Work with Azure Data Factory to create and monitor data workflows.
Assist in managing data stored in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) activities.
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data processing issues.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Support database and data platform maintenance activities.
Assist in optimizing data processes for performance and reliability.
Work with senior engineers to implement new data solutions and enhancements.
Maintain technical documentation for data processes and solutions.
Follow security, access control, and data governance standards.
Participate in incident resolution and provide timely technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts.
Hands-on or academic experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake is preferred.
Good knowledge of SQL and basic data processing concepts.
Basic understanding of Python or another programming/scripting language.
Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
