Summary
- Lead teams responsible for Check Point to Fortinet migration activities.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of FortiGate firewalls.
- Analyze existing Check Point firewall policies, VPNs, NAT configurations, and security architecture.
- Coordinate migration planning, execution, testing, and rollback strategies.
- Lead network segmentation and security modernization initiatives.
- Guide deployment engineers through implementation and troubleshooting activities.
- Work closely with NetDevOps and SRE teams to support automation and operational improvements.
- Participate in maintenance windows, change management, and production rollouts.
- Ensure all migration work follows enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and escalation support.
- 7+ years of network deployment or network security engineering experience.
- Extensive Fortinet FortiGate experience.
- Strong Check Point firewall administration experience.
- Experience leading firewall migration projects.
- Cisco routing and switching expertise.
- VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN).
- FortiManager and centralized policy management.
- Firewall policy analysis and migration.
- High Availability (HA) firewall deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
- Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 certifications.
- CCNP or CCNP Security.
- Arista networking experience.
- Python automation experience.
- Financial services experience.
