Hiring seasoned Test / Automation Engineers to join our engineering team in Delaware. In this senior role, you will own the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies across functional, API, and performance layers - ensuring our software platforms meet the highest standards of reliability and quality. You will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality at every stage of the software delivery lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and/or Cypress for web application testing.
Build and execute comprehensive API test suites using Postman and SoapUI, covering functional, regression, and contract testing.
Lead performance and load testing initiatives using JMeter; analyze results and work with engineering teams to address bottlenecks.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation, test data setup, and backend verification.
Manage test planning, defect tracking, and test cycle reporting in JIRA; maintain dashboards for QA metrics and release readiness.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct root cause analysis on defects, document findings, and drive quality improvements across the SDLC.
Define QA best practices and contribute to test strategy documentation; mentor junior QA engineers as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of hands-on software testing experience with a strong focus on automation.
Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and/or Cypress for end-to-end UI test automation.
Solid experience with API testing tools - Postman (collections, environments, Newman) and SoapUI (functional and security testing).
Demonstrated expertise with JMeter for performance, load, and stress testing; experience interpreting and presenting test results.
Strong SQL skills for test data management, result validation, and database-layer testing.
Hands-on experience with JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, sprint ceremonies, and QA reporting.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) and integrating automated tests into build workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Candidates with the following experience will be given strong preference:
Experience testing AI/ML-powered systems or intelligent automation pipelines.
Hands-on validation of OCR/ICR extraction accuracy - including confidence score thresholds, field-level accuracy benchmarks, and edge-case document testing.
Familiarity with model output validation techniques - checking for hallucination, classification drift, or regression in prediction quality.
Exposure to tools such as Great Expectations, Deepchecks, or custom data validation frameworks for ML pipeline quality.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and testing microservices or serverless architectures.
ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
